About Chiapas

Surrounded by exuberant nature and incomparable landscapes, Chiapas is a fascinating state that preserves the traditions of ancient cultures. It is located in the southwestern region of the country, bordering the states of Tabasco, Oaxaca and Veracruz.   Chiapas has four Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) that will surprise you with their nature and history. In San Cristóbal de las Casas, you will find a place full of colonial wealth when you walk through its beautiful streets, the atmosphere is such that it is considered one of the most romantic cities in the world. Chiapa de Corzo is considered the first city founded by the Spanish during the 16th century and its cultural wealth is invaluable. Its temples and buildings show colonial styles of great historical value. In Palenque, in addition to the archaeological site, you can walk through the streets of the town and visit the Plaza del Artesano (Craftsman Square). The cultural and natural wealth of Chiapas is as immense as the warmth of its people and the beauty of its territory, visit it and experience the greatness of the Mayan world.
